COMMUNITY

Come join us in Hope!

Hope community projects committee

The Hope Community Projects Committee (HCPC) is a group that was founded in 2000 with the goals to create events that would foster relationships with our citizens, local community service groups, local businesses, and to highlight and showcase our town to those outside our city limits. Our mission is to keep the town of Hope alive with pride and positivity.  We have had holiday home tours, May Day teas, co-ed softball tournaments, movies in the park, golf tournaments, disc golf tournaments and many other events, but the one event that we have had become our main focus has been the Hope Heritage Festival. Started in 2001, the Hope Heritage Festival has grown in the past 22 years to host several hundred people every Saturday after Labor Day. Our all day festival boasts a large car show, vendor booths, a parade, other local community organizations fundraisers, just to name a few events.

The organization of this event is a yearlong endeavor. We have gained the help of volunteers, local service groups, and local business people each year to help. This has been the one event that has helped our committee meet our goals of promoting Hope in a positive way and help engage our citizens, our community groups, and our business with others from out-of-town.

There Will Always Be HOPE in Kansas!
